17th January 2010 Basin Armed Division Winter Gathering NEW VENUE The annual Military vehicle rally is changing this year! Due to the expanding numbers
at the show for the last couple of years, we are moving the event half mile down the road/seawall to the Millbeach pub (Postcode
CM9 4RA) which has more space but is still on the seawall looking over the Blackwater Estuary, Millbeach is just a bit
further on towards Goldhanger past the Basin rd turning along Goldhanger rd (less than 2 minutes further!!). Weather
permitting, we hope for over 50 vehicles this year including Tanks, armoured cars, Ferrets, Jeeps etc along with the usual
characters in bygone army uniforms and background 40s/50s music supplied by the Millbeach. The event is free to
the public and the owners of the vehicle are pleased to discuss the history of their vehicles and often let you have
a look inside. Event starts at 10am through till lunchtime, hot food and refreshment available from the pub. Vehicle owners/drivers or anybody else with interesting military kit, please contact myself (shaun@seylec.com), Jack Scott on 07798 518662 or contact the Essex MVT.

7th July 2010 Annual visit to Maldon for children brought by London Taxi cabs for lunch and entertainment. Local
shops are decorated for the cabs to proceed down the High Street.

Beeleigh Abbey Gardens Open 19th July 2010 10.30am - 4.30pm (last admission
3.30pm). Three acres of gardens provide a fine setting for the picturesque and historic former abbey buildings dating

1940s Big Band Dance at Sacred Heart of Mary Girls' School
in Upminster Saturday 24th July 2010 7:30pm - 11:30pm Live 16 piece band (the Jeff Short Band) playing
all the well known 40s classics including Glenn Miller. We are encouraging people to dress in 1940s style or black tie and
hope to have lookalikes/re-enactors there. Tickets are £22:50 which includes a Fish 'n' Chips supper.

Want to know what it is like to be a soldier? The Combined Military Services Museum will be holding a series of courses this being the first to learn how to be become a

Maldon Victorian Evening Thursdays 2nd and 9th December 2010 The High Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from 6pm and the shops will

Combined Ops - IMPS Military Show and Classic Aircraft Week-end The Invicta Military-Vehicle Preservation Society and Headcorn Aerodrome
present another great military and flying week-end at Headcorn Aerodrome, near Maidstone, Kent. Including: A ‘fly-in’
of classic Military and Civilian aircraft, operating continuously throughout the whole week-end, and featuring displays by
a famous WW2 Battle of Britain Hurricane, and a classic US Mustang, fighters. Military vehicle displays - Live Arena Battle-action.

Rally The Annual Winter Vintage Military Rally at the Millbeach pub ( Goldhanger Rd, Heybridge,

different ages complimented by stalls, live music (on the inside and outside stages) and hot food. Previous rallies
