The original Chitty
chitty.jpg

After watching a Land Rover with a car trailer carefully trying to reverse back down my road, I wondered (as you do) what was on the trailer.
Later that day I met Mr Pierre Picton, the owner since filming and stunt driver of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and a familiar looking Land Rover & trailor, "Did you get lost this morning in Heybridge Basin?" I inquired "Wrong post code in the GPS, took us the wrong way old chap, begger to reverse down a gravel road with a trailer" was the response.
I'll have to put a plaque in our road stating 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was in Harfred Avenue, 2007'
Pierre is a nice chap and good for a story or two about CCBB filming, Ian Flemming and the origination of the car.
He and the car are available for hire, click below for full details & history.

Bumblebee.jpg

Bumblebee, same Camaro as in the start of the Transformers film!
I had an early 70's Z28 Camero when I was a teenager, a 5.7 litres engine that did 6 to 8 miles per gallon! Makes the Scorpian tank MPG look good!

My Camero

Tashkent Rally
Whats the Tashkent Rally you ask, its a charity run to Kazahkstan that Local guys Alex and Simon are getting ready for as their next Mad Mission.
